40 children from Áirc Damhsa were invited to perform for Pope Francis in Croke Park this Summer as part of the World Gathering of Families. On Saturday 25th August they took to the stage with Riverdance and musicians David Brophy, Frankie Gavin, the Begley Family and RTÉ Orchestra before an audience of 85,000 people. An momentous event for both the dancers and teachers at the club and one they'll never forget!

The 40 children are from across Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Longford, Westmeath and Offaly.
